My second week in, a senior designer handed me a real client brief — no sandbox version, no “practice project.” I was scared, but that’s exactly what made me grow. I never wanted to leave.

I found the Junior PHP Developer opening on Infostud. The role description, the technologies, and the location immediately felt like a strong match, so I applied.
After applying, the first feedback took a bit longer, but I stayed patient and genuinely hoped for a positive answer. I even told friends how much I wanted to start my career at Creative Brackets because the overall concept felt like the right fit.
The next step was a short form about my experience, knowledge, and motivation. After that, I was invited to an online interview. The conversation with the founders was relaxed and friendly, which helped me overcome the initial nerves.
Then we met in person at the office to get to know each other better. We talked about the tech stack, ways of working, how projects are organized, and the company’s values. What mattered most to me was the clarity and transparency around how teamwork and project collaboration actually function.
After the meeting, I was told I’d receive an answer within three days. The call confirming I got my first job was a hugely motivating moment for me.

“I wanted mentorship more than anything. The internship was paid, structured, and hands-on — and I gradually transitioned onto real projects until I could own them.”

After an unsuccessful SaaS attempt, I moved into digital marketing and completed a few courses on Google Ads and Meta Ads. My next step was finding clients — and I quickly realized people don’t easily pay a stranger to run their marketing. So I decided to look for an internship to gain experience and have someone I could ask for advice.
I researched digital agencies in Serbia and Creative Brackets stood out. The website looked professional, they had strong clients, and they felt more serious than most. I wrote an email with my offer and CV.
I sent 8 emails. Most never replied. CB did — they just wanted to know more about me. During that time, I accepted an unpaid internship elsewhere with no mentor. Meanwhile, my conversation with CB continued, and eventually we scheduled a call.
After the call, they offered me a paid internship for three months. Each month we covered a core area in depth: Google Ads, then Meta Ads and SEO — and I also learned design. Miloš, the agency owner, mentored me and was always available.
Soon I started working on real projects. They onboarded me gradually, one project at a time, until I was running performance marketing and social media management.
After three months, I received a full-time offer. I’m learning every day, and the team is genuinely great.

Intern evaluation
Process & Stages
Your journey with Creative Brackets starts with understanding who you are - not just what you know. Throughout our evaluation process, we’ll explore your background, assess your current skills, and learn about your goals. This helps us tailor the internship experience to your strengths and ensure it’s valuable for both sides.
Application review
Your first step is sending us your CV or portfolio. Once we receive it, we’ll review your skills, interests, and experience to make sure we have all the right information to move forward.
Personality testing
We’re not just looking for talent - we’re looking for the right mindset. You’ll receive a short personality and aptitude test that helps us understand how you think, collaborate, and solve challenges.
Online presence
We take a quick look at your online presence - portfolio, GitHub, Behance, or social media - to see how you present yourself professionally. It’s not about perfection, but about alignment, creativity, and consistency.
Final interview
If everything feels like a match, we’ll invite you to a short interview (in-person or online). You’ll get to meet some of our team members, ask questions, and experience a glimpse of our culture before making the final step.
